Description:
Rozalia Lubowidzka, a young widow, is trying to rebuild her life after a marriage that was hell for her. She receives a letter from her husband's mistress, begging for help from her sick daughter. Meanwhile, Ada Lubowidzka, a sister of two respected brothers, comes to Warsaw, trying to break free from the torpor of life in the provinces and fight for higher education. All three women share the figure of Ignacy Lubowidzki, a member of the Seym of the Second Polish Republic, who was tragically shot one night in an attack. Will a selfless friendship change a cruel fate? Will it be possible to tear down the wall of prejudices and overcome the brutal conservatism that prevailed in pre-war Poland? Will love overcome all obstacles?".
