Description:
1949: Erika, the eldest daughter of Katia and Thomas Mann, accompanies her parents on their trip to Europe after years of exile in the USA. The double awarding of the Goethe Prize to her father in Germany is imminent when the family in Stockholm receives the shocking news of Klaus Mann's suicide. While Erika begins to sort out her beloved brother's estate, she remembers - the sheltered childhood in Munich, the roaring twenties in Berlin, joint works and the world trip as the Mann twins, the commitment against the Nazis in exile.
