Description:
Twenty years have passed: When Stefan and Theresa meet by chance in Hamburg, their first reunion ends in disaster. During their student days, they were like family to each other; today, they have barely any common ground. Stefan has made a career at Germany's largest weekly newspaper, DER BOTE, while Theresa has taken over her father's farm in Brandenburg. Their different life plans have developed into opposing perspectives. Stefan is trying to combat climate change through dedicated journalistic projects at his newspaper. Theresa faces challenges with her organic dairy farm that are pushing her to the limits of her strength. The two decide to start over, sharing stories from their worlds via email and WhatsApp. But as they grow closer, they repeatedly find themselves in heated exchanges over polarizing issues such as climate policy, gender language, and accusations of racism.
