Description:
A fantasy horror novel that tells the eternal struggle between good and evil. In a village in Upper Egypt, a mysterious man appears, claiming to be a miracle worker and imitating the image of a saint and a righteous person. He seizes control over everyone in the village and becomes their lord. He murders people's honor and privacy to have children with these girls and offer his offspring as a sacrifice to the devil. A kind Christian woman is able to save his son from being killed as a sacrifice. Aunt Jabbouna, the midwife, gives Ibn Halab al-Najm to Fatima and Mahrous to escape with him to Cairo. There, Ibn al-Halab lives, but strange abilities appear on him. Here, the people of the other world from the kingdom of the jinn who fight al-Halab and his demon, Zahdash, appear. The king of the upper jinn orders one of his loyal aides to monitor Noah Ibn al-Halab and prevent Zahdash from reaching him. Before that, a heinous murder takes place in the monastery, its victims are monks and clerics who have experience in exorcising evil spirits. The perpetrator is Zahdash because he wants to eliminate any human who confronts the demons. Jabbouna goes to the church and confesses what she did and asks for repentance and forgiveness for what Halab al-Najm forced her to do. There, she recounts all the atrocities he is planning. The cleric decides to tell the head of the monastery to protect Jabbouna. Events unfold until the final confrontation, and Noah becomes a young man and confronts his father, Halab al-Najm
