Akhnatun wa-al-saat al-Ruliks
Description:
This book contains approximately 60 articles, which for me were like messages I put in bottles and sent across the Mediterranean to Egypt. Each article was a journey into the world of culture. Culture encompasses a wide range of fields, including literature, philosophy, politics, music, cinema, heritage, sociology, races, antiquities, food and culinary schools, proverbs, and almost anything that nourishes the mind and soul. The journeys took me joyfully between the corners of global knowledge, with the habit of returning to the mother of the world, Egypt, the source of knowledge and culture. The articles do not only relate to new discoveries happening around the world or news about art and literature, but they also address, for example, the need to preserve the environment, or to stop toying with the future of humanity due to global warming and rising temperatures. For me, these articles were and still are maps of enchanting places, from the cell to the opera, from our planet to the universe. Maps that move between the telescopic and the microscopic to whet the appetite for greater insatiable desire for knowledge. Maps that have opened, and continue to open, for me personally the doors to new journeys that I still aspire to undertake
