Why did a genius girl who was even called a "god" die during a performance of a play she was creating? Yuki Sayaka, who has enrolled in a girls' drama school, aspires to be a playwright. In her year, Shitara Ryo, another aspiring playwright, is hailed as the school's greatest genius. Ryo has an exceptional talent for bringing out the best in actors and creating performances that captivate audiences. Gradually, Ryo is revered as a "god" by those around him, and even his tyrannical behavior is forgiven, as it is for the sake of creating a good stage. However, Ryo suddenly falls to her death from the stage during a performance of a play she was creating. It is dismissed as an unfortunate accident, but the following spring, new student Fujishiro Takami, who enrolls as a freshman, loudly declares in front of the entire school that he has died. "I've come to investigate the truth behind Shitara Ryo's death." Sayaka is drawn into investigating the students who had connections with Ryo when he was alive, and Takamizu ends up doing so... A dazzling and vivid school mystery in which theater-loving students uncover a "murderer" hiding among them
