Description:
As the footsteps of the Showa era draw to a close, Professor Saeki of the Department of General Surgery at Tojo University School of Medicine promotes a young, rank-and-file member of his medical department, Seijiro Tokai. Despite the resentment of his fellow medical staff, Tokai successfully performs one advanced surgery after another. He is eventually sent to represent the professor at an international conference in the Netherlands, where he encounters a new fate. After returning to Japan, he becomes suspicious of a patient's medical records, leading him to delve into the dark depths of Saeki's surgery department...
