The film opens nationwide on Friday, June 13, 2025! A star-studded cast including Shun Oguri, Tori Matsuzaka, Sosuke Ikematsu, Yosuke Kubozuka, and more. --Based on true events-- In February 2020, a ship carrying COVID-19 patients docked in Yokohama. Approximately 3,700 crew and passengers were on board. Trapped aboard the luxury cruise ship at sea with an unknown virus and no escape route, the infection spread rapidly. "Currently, there are only three doctors on board. We understand that virus response is outside the DMAT's expertise. But to prevent the virus from being brought into Japan, we have no choice but to have someone on board." At the request of the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) boarded the Diamond Princess. To protect the lives of the passengers and the safety of Japan... However, the media reported their tireless rescue efforts as "sloppy response" and "confining passengers is a violation of human rights," and DMAT came under intense criticism. Even so, they did not argue back and simply focused on their rescue efforts. "There's no time to argue. For the sake of life, we'll do everything we can. That's what DMAT is all about." This is the untold story of those who took on an unknown virus, never before reported in the media. What really happened on board the Diamond Princess at that time
