Description:
In Nara's world, people master the magic of the elements by binding themselves to a Soul Book. After their death, their soul enters the book, amplifying its power. This legendary technique is mastered only by the Bookbinders, who are therefore the most coveted resource. To prevent the world from destroying itself in the struggle for them, the Ritual of Light was established after the great war. A grand spectacle, it determines who will be allowed to bring home the Bookbinders and thus the world's most precious resource. For this purpose, the largest cities send their elemental emissaries to the Academy, where fierce competitions decide who will ultimately face the Ritual of Light. Nara arrives at the Academy as an elemental emissary of Water—her goal: victory, and with it not only fame and glory, but also the precious Bookbinders, to save her homeland from ruin.
