Diabelski krąg
Description:
Where the Creator cannot, there is a sister (in her habit) for a deputy!" As every year, the cream of society gathers at the "Miodowy Młyn" in Opatów for a charity event, and the guest of honor is Sister Małgorzata Chmielewska, whose foundation is the beneficiary of the fundraiser. This time, however, nothing goes as it should. During the event, one of the canons of the local collegiate church is murdered, and a valuable copy of a necklace that once belonged to Anna Jagiellon is missing. Suspicion of the crime falls on a young teacher who is in conflict with the priest. It quickly turns out that more than one person has motives for committing the murder: a former mayor dreaming of returning to office, the principal of the Opatów high school, the owner of a local boutique, and even a presidential candidate. The police and Sister Chmielewska, a great fan of crime novels and a friend of the teacher who, in her opinion, was wrongly accused of crimes, take up the investigation. The Devil's Circle is another A crime comedy by Alek Rogoziński, an author known for mixing classic detective intrigues with a large dose of black humor. --Page 4 of cover
