Description:

The story follows a young boy named Miong whose best friend is a Kapre living in a lush, green area near his town. They enjoy eating Miong’s favorite pansit and strolling around together. One day, Miong wakes up to a strong, suffocating smell of smoke and finds his Kapre friend secretly up in a tree doing something important. The tale provides a creative twist by linking the lore of Philippine mythical creatures to the historical environment of El Viejo (the old town).
