Die Nacht
Description:
A little boy disappears. Yet the case appears in no official file. Fifteen years later, Dana Karasch--his older sister--goes missing. But for her, too, no one seems to care. No one, that is, except Art Mayer. For the gruff BKA investigator has taken Dana's young daughter, Milla--who lives on the floor beneath him--to his heart. When Art calls upon a powerful friend for help, he stirs up a hornet's nest. An anonymous tip leads him and Nele Tschaikowski to an abandoned trailer park deep in the woods, far removed from civilization. There, they discover several unidentified bodies--and the slashed body of a respected Berlin judge.
