Schneckenkönigin
Description:
If everyone tells you it’s not normal, yet no one can find the cause—how would you feel?" From childhood, Klara has been made to feel that she takes longer than others to recover from seemingly minor illnesses. Later, she begins to suffer from breakdowns and states of exhaustion. The symptoms are obvious to her and those around her, yet no one can offer a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or even a prospect of a cure. Her visits to a wide range of doctors become an exhausting, fruitless ordeal. She finds it increasingly difficult to juggle parenthood, her relationship, friendships, and her job. Is it chronic fatigue or something else? How can she live with it and manage it? Klara finds her own path toward a self-determined life, though she meets with a lack of understanding from her partner, Matti, and her family.
