El día en que Úrsula Mon se convirtió en oso
Description:
Úrsula Mon lives in the village of Zarzal del Lago with her grandmother and feels different from others. At school she is teased for her stutter and finds refuge only in the woods. Something extraordinary happens there: the day she crosses paths with a bear, the animal's gaze pierces her forever and awakens in her an emotional connection and an inner strength unknown until then. Guided by the stories of the old forest ranger Gerardo and with the unexpected support of her new teacher, Azucena, the girl will begin a personal journey driven by her fascination with bears, in which she will be able to transform her vulnerability into a wild value. A moving story by Mónica Rodríguez, accompanied by the suggestive illustrations of Ester García, which explores the search for one's own voice and the deep bond between human beings and nature, without neglecting other themes such as the harshness of bullying or the weight of loneliness and family absences.
