Mr. Duck, as he does every day, goes to work. Mr. Rabbit, as he does every day, also goes to work. They always cross paths... This is how this work begins, winner of the first edition of the Compostela International Illustrated Album Prize, a modern fable about the lack of communication, and a poetic and profound reflection on interpersonal relationships and individualism, desires and emotions. From a literary point of view, the narrative simplicity and the internal mechanism of the story that alternate the actions of the two protagonists isolated in their daily routines stand out. Plastically, Natalia Colombo creates her own typography and combines various techniques, from acrylic to collage, to recreate colors and textures that give the work a very personal style and character. The possibility of different reading planes and an open ending suggested by the last image make an album accessible to readers of different ages that returns in a new, larger format almost 18 years after its publication and with more than 15,000 copies sold in different languages.
