Pesce & granchio
Description:
Night has just fallen in the aquarium. All is quiet, everyone is asleep... except Fish. His mind is a whirlwind of questions and fears, increasingly more improbable: what are those strange noises? What if an owl is spying on him? What if aliens are kidnapping him in his sleep? What if it's raining frogs? Luckily for him, his gruff but patient roommate, Granchio, is next to him, trying in vain to reassure him. Faced with Fish's raging anxieties, the only solution is a cup of herbal tea and a pact: he'll tell them all his fears, all at once, and then he'll go to sleep. But who said nighttime anxieties have a limit? What if a black hole sucks them into a parallel universe where he and Granchio swap places?! After an explosion of increasingly bizarre questions, Fish finally relaxes. Reassured by Granchio, he curls up contentedly and whispers, "Goodnight!" Silence. Peace. ...Or maybe not? Now it's Crab's turn to stare into the darkness... With her unmistakable ironic touch and perfect comic rhythm, Marianna Coppo offers us a bright and funny story, perfect for lightheartedly tackling little ones' nighttime anxieties.
