Description:

Welcome to the Animal School in the forest! The long-awaited winter break has finally arrived. The monkey plans to enjoy a soothing hot spring, the rabbit looks forward to whizzing along on a sled, the squirrel (a Eurasian red squirrel) is busy building a cute snowman, and the roe deer is excited for a snowball fight--everyone is ready for a fun-filled winter break. But the chipmunk sits with its head hung low; since it must sleep through the entire winter, enjoying these winter activities is nothing more than a distant dream. After spending the whole break thinking it over, the animal friends prepare a very special gift for the chipmunk... Will the chipmunk ever get to experience winter? And what could be the secret behind a snowman that doesn't melt, even when warm spring arrives?
