Description:
In a future where anyone can drift through space if they wish, humanity is divided into "Enhancers"--who freely augment parts of their bodies with machinery--and "Organics," who live with their bodies exactly as they were born. However, because only works created through an unaugmented body are recognized as true art, artists--such as painters and musicians--must be Organics. Soka, a genius painter, lives a life of self-loathing over his imperfect body; despite the pristine air quality, a congenital lung condition leaves him unable to even step outside without an oxygen helmet. Into Soka's mansion comes Luxelle, a cleaner suffering from "achromatopsia" (total color blindness) caused by a freak accident, who is working to fund his own Enhancer surgery. Soka and Luxelle--both harboring reasons to despise their own imperfect bodies and having lost sight of their lives because of it--begin to confront the truths they had long evaded through a game of exchanging questions
