Description:

A "Goyonin" is a human who travels around attending to the errands and requests of the gods. Born into a shrine that has produced generations of Goyonin, Shiro has long aspired to become one himself, yet he grows increasingly impatient as he has still not been appointed. Then comes his seventeenth birthday. He makes a direct appeal to the god Okuninushi, who proposes that Shiro serve as a "Goyonin Apprentice" to assist the gods--but the tasks involve things like... searching for a lost cat? A god wanting to change their name!? A god of pickles!?!? Join Shiro--a self-proclaimed "god otaku"--and his guardian, the white wolf Seiran. This new Goyonin (apprentice) duo is ready to dash all over the country!
