Maromaru Ise mairi
Description:
It's the year of the Okage-mairi, a pilgrimage that happens only once every sixty years, when everyone heads to Ise Grand Shrine. Six-year-old niece Yui receives an offer to be adopted into a large Osaka family. However, no one from the main family comes to pick her up, and instead, a letter arrives asking Kuro to bring Yui to Ise. To determine if this is a good deal, Kuro, the third son of a money exchange business, is asked by his sister and brother-in-law to escort Yui. Accompanied by their newly found puppy, Maromaru, they set off on their journey, but they encounter trouble at every turn, and Kuro is asked to come up with a good solution each time... Kuro, who cannot find his place in the world, and Yui, who is vying to inherit the fortune of a large family, travel west along the Tokaido Road, with their future at stake!
